Since 2021, our mission has been to serve as the ultimate hub for geeks and nerds in Mauritius. We have always believed that our platform is more than just a community; it is a family. The Geek-Mas Market Mauritius was the perfect physical manifestation of that family coming together to celebrate the end of the year in true geek fashion.

The absolute highlight of the Geek-Mas Market Mauritius was, without a doubt, our incredible lineup of local artists, artisans, and creators. We transformed the space into a bustling bazaar where creativity took center stage.
From stunning, hand-drawn fan art and intricate handmade crafts to rare, highly sought-after collectibles, the tables were packed with what we can only describe as “legendary loot.” It was truly amazing to see so many of you actively supporting local talent. By choosing to shop at the Geek-Mas Market Mauritius, you bypassed the standard, mass-produced items found in standard malls in favor of finding unique, meaningful gifts that directly support Mauritian creators. The Vibe at Vitrinn: A Cozy Hub for Geek Culture ✨
An epic event requires an epic venue, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location for the first Geek-Mas Market Mauritius. Vitrinn provided the absolute perfect modern, yet cozy, backdrop for this gathering.
The atmosphere inside was electric. Walking through the market, you could hear passionate conversations about the latest anime releases, deep gaming debates, and the pure, unfiltered joy of sharing a common culture. It was a safe, inclusive space where everyone could be their authentic selves.
As the actor Simon Pegg beautifully stated, “Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection. It means never having to play it cool about how much you like something”. That quote embodies the exact vibe we felt at Vitrinn on December 13th. Nobody was playing it cool; everyone was simply celebrating what they love.
